MUSD Alliance Partners (MAP) for Future-Ready Learners​

The economic vitality of the City of Milpitas is interconnected with its education infrastructure and workforce development strategy. The Milpitas Unified School District reaches 40,000 workforce eligible local residents on a daily basis, ages 17 - 50+, with many of the adults having advanced degrees and ability to speak multiple languages. The MUSD Alliance Partners (MAP) for Future-Ready Learners initiative provides the Milpitas business community a streamlined process of partnering, volunteering and recruiting MUSD workforce ready students, parents, and residents  eligible for internships, apprentice programs, and employment opportunities.
 
 

 
 
MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA
Each Founding Member Organizations Board of Directors, CEO and Leadership team must philosophically believe public education systems are the cornerstone and critical components to a thriving workforce economy, dynamic governance systems, and an advanced society. 
 
FOUNDING MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS
​agree to:
  • Support the development and sustainability of MUSD Innovation Campus programs, equipment, personnel and professional development.   
  • Provide reasonable input into training curriculums that aligns with the needs of MUSD secondary students, adult learners and others to MAP affiliate partners.
  • Host broad scope workshops, seminars and events that attract regional, national and international funding sources and partnerships for MUSD Pathways Partners Program members. 
 ​
MEMBERSHIP COMMITMENTS:
  • Five (5) year engagement (member representative must be a consistent senior level representative)
  • Participate in quarterly workforce development discussions and events.
  • Provide insights and thought leadership towards future program development
  • Provide opportunities for MUSD learners
  • Advocate for MAP and MUSD initiatives pertaining to developing future ready learners
