Coping with Stress During Infectious Disease Outbreaks
Parenting during COVID-19 can be stressful while sheltering at home.
Younger children may not have the words to describe feelings and are more likely to act out their stress, anxiety, or fear through challenging behaviors. Social distancing requirements may be especially hard for teenagers, who may feel cut off from their friends and regular activities.
